"I am amazingly happy with the new material, it is defiantly the best album I have been involved with. The song structures are solid, memorable and brutal. The players on ‘World of Lies’ Sam (Berzerker bass), Ed and Jay (from the "Self Titled" album) and Adrian (From Demon Other) really understood the direction I wanted to take the new material and provided some amazing riff's and playing.
Lyrically "World of Lies" sees more concepts of hatred from my own personal life, only this time they have been focused and directed at a single individual from my past. All performed with the utmost disgust. Over the past 2 albums I have really learnt a lot with regards to production and song writing... Finally the guitars are upfront and clear allowing for every brutal note to be heard at its down tuned best! I have defiantly pulled the heaviest guitar sound in the history of The Berzerker....
I have performed ALL the vocals (high and low) on the album which really gave me a great chance to showcase some of my vocal range and I cant wait to perform the material LIVE!!!! "World of Lies" sees some of our fastest material to date; but the race to be the "worlds fastest band" is over, We have already won with "Dissimulate" The Berzerker have nothing left to prove.... "Its time to bang your fucking heads"
